Default CAL proposed SLI posted on UAL ALPA site

A straight staple job for the furloughed guys. Plus some other shenanigans a little higher that I can't make sense of. Pure and simple a blatant seniority grab by Scab City.

Each SLI similar things happen. Each carrier is going to propose a list that is most beneficial to their membership.

FWIW, the bottom 22% of the proposed list is active UAL pilots not including the UAL furloughees. Yes, they placed CAL pilots on furlough at time of merger above active non-furloughed UAL pilots hired in 1997.

That's a hoot!

Katz has never been successful with his extreme proposals and arguments. I don't think he will be this time either.

Still a hoot! A 2011 hire above a 1997 hire......GMAFB.

This is actually VERY good news. The CAL list is acknowledging the precept of placing furloughed pilots ahead of active pilots under the new merger policy; so I hope they won't be overly shocked if the real ISL has both furloughed groups fully integrated with some type of longevity credit. The rest is silly because it has no bearing on any reality ever. I do hope the UAL MEC is a little less extreme and a lot more reasonable in their suggestion because this CAL proposal is just embarrassing in my eyes.

Katz: "Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop smoking crack!"

It's called ALPA merger policy.

+1 The Cal proposal was offensive and in direct conflict with both past precedence and current ALPA merger policy. I think that was a mistake.

And this is their "moderate" proposal, according to Katz. They could have been more unreasonable.
