Delta is killing us that's why they want the planes now. What business traveler would pick an Express Jet RJ with no customer service over a Compass jet (Emb 75) with first class, a meal, free drinks and WiFi? We are way behind the curve, the 50 seaters will start to vanish. I bought my wife a full fare ticket on Delta, the other choice was a 50 jungle jet on United. They were the same price, both had a connection, I'm not dropping $500 for a 50 seat RJ ride.

Gee I bet Jeff is really throwing a temper tantrum about this scope choke potentially forcing him to park 50 seaters. Golf clap to all the zombie ALPA pilots who bought off on the koolaid once again...

Btw I'll have to dig up the note, but Jamie Baker had the numbers that proved UAL can add 87 76 seaters and trigger ZERO scope contractual headaches.

That was before the number Q400s went up.

Jeff timed these announcement to coincide with the re-launce of the "Sparkies". He even took a ride on one of the "Sparkies" to show how safe they are. It's interesting that Skynet made no mention of the "Scope Choke" while selling the Sparkies to the ground folks.
Is the Scope Choke real or imagined?

Just noticed Jeff selling new RJ's on SkyNet.

How about a 737 instead? No! Who cares about the pilots on furlough, let's give up scope instead!

This is part of the problem - you guys don't know how to take responsibility for the action of your group. You stood by while the UAL pilots tried to build an inclusive union for the two groups while j.pierce did everything he could to to destroy it with his greed and sense of insecurity. You guys are so use to having your work life dictated to you that you don't understand you had/have choices. Big problem is with those choices go the responsibility of your actions or in-actions. It time to stand up and own the actions of your MEC and your chairman.

There's no pilots on furlough except voluntary furlough, and some markets won't support a 737, if they would profitably support a 737 our management would plug one in one a heartbeat. It about profitability. The market changes, we adapt, we have a scope policy. A lot of the 70 flying feed OUR 777 757 787 767 flying. It's done, adapt!!!
