Delta is killing us that's why they want the planes now. What business traveler would pick an Express Jet RJ with no customer service over a Compass jet (Emb 75) with first class, a meal, free drinks and WiFi? We are way behind the curve, the 50 seaters will start to vanish. I bought my wife a full fare ticket on Delta, the other choice was a 50 jungle jet on United. They were the same price, both had a connection, I'm not dropping $500 for a 50 seat RJ ride.

Scope Choke will be crossed Imo. It must be crossed or UAL will be at an serious economic disadvantage to DAL and the new AA Btw I'll have to dig up the note, but Jamie Baker had the numbers that proved UAL can add 87 76 seaters and trigger ZERO scope contractual headaches. |
