It's not so much VJM as much as this is indicative of reserves being abused to the limit before they get to this point, which they are as the summer opens.

Was this from the CCS sign-in screen? I'm not seeing it...what was the source of the message?

Yes, CCS home screen.

Very likely on the Capt side as they are (sigh) short again. On the FO side it's a different picture. Plenty reserves flying well below MPG. Summer might give them opportunity to break that for many from what the rumors are.

The opportunists are still concentrated down in Mecca, aren't they? Then again, I guess the opening of DEN and LAX has spread the 737 Saving Company Again Brotherhood around the system so it has to be offered everywhere. :rolleyes:

Not sure where you get that it's JUST the people you quoted above? They may be the only one's that come out and publicly tell you about it!! I had a UAL "furloughed" guy tell me that it happened on the other side of the fence during the furlough!! Also had an FO from "Jersey Shore" come down to Mecca to fly a JM trip!! (and he didn't have Snookie with him!!) I've had so many guys from a 747 CA on jumpseat to reserve FO tell me they wish they could fly more! I personally could care less, I like my days off! ( I advertise trips often w/no luck!) Everyone has been offered a recall (I know not to UAL, but same pay or higher and sen. or higher until SLI) and the contract is signed!! I'm not going to get on here and preach the way open time should be handled!! (It's already been contractualized!):confused:

I do not believe pick up time would be a SCAB move since all involuntary furloughs have been offered a job. IMHO
