How do you do it, when you do it?
How do you normally verify your id's?
1. Call the crew desk 2. Let the crew desk call you 3. Via the computer 4. Call the voice activated telephone system 5. Via ACAR5 |
What's an ID? Someone needs to read their FOM. Did you know the passenger loading bridge went away?

That's quite alright. I still call "sam" and it's "cockpit windows." Years of habits. Who cares?

This survey has a pretty low participation rate, but 30% of guys say that they call the crew desk or wait for a call.
I know some people think they are punishing the company by overloading the crew desk with calls, but that's really NOT what's happening. The company can care less that the crew desk is working twice as hard. They won't increase staffing. What DOES happen is that a reserve has to try for 20+ minutes to actually talk to a scheduler (when they call to pick up a trip for instance). Let's all just grow up and use the automated line or the computer.:D |
