Pilot Seniority grid

Flt Ops just put out a "seniority grid." It shows the seniority of each Decile at each base for each seat.

You will likely have to sign in to see it

theoretically bids to follow!

And for those looking for their true seniority number, the most current one should be on your pbs screen.

The info on that grid is highly skewed. I would give it 3-4 successive bids so the seniority can right itself. The chart at that time should reflect a truer percentage for each domicile, fleet, and seat. Until then, let the bidding begin.

I don't see a bid out, but on the Vacancy Bidding screen on CCS it says there is one.

Agree. So many people have artificially bid out of seniority for the last 3 years, its going to be a couple years of surplusses and retirements before it shows an equilibrium picture.

Are all the bases/equipment for bid? (besides the fences)?
I didn't see any Airbus...

Flyguppy 09-20-2013 04:34 PM

I think it's a work in progress. It shows 364 ORD 737 FO positions.

This straight from ALPA update:
"With respect to the L-UAL pilots and their new ISL system seniority numbers, they are being considered twice by an internal records system which passes a generated report into PBS. This is the number displayed along with your base seniority on the Crew Information page. Stated differently, the affected L-UAL pilots get one count for their L-CAL employee number and another for their ISL "U" number. This is causing an artificial increase in the number of bidders being tallied for this system seniority block total. The base seniority number has been corrected and for the purpose of bidding, this is what really matters. The system seniority block issue being addressed has no impact on your current month’s PBS bid."
