SCABS attempted to ruin this profession and lower the bar. The are the worst kind of opportunists.

We will not forget what they did.

My exposure to the UAL culture 25 years ago as a DC10 SO: Capt and FO talking about a Chicago scab that passed a few days earlier in a car accident, the Captain tells the First Officer that he wishes the scab's flight west crashes! The next day same trip, the captain kicks the senior VP of flight training Bill Traub a scab out of the cockpit. The hatred still runs very deep as we were mentored by a MAJORITY of strikers through out our years.

It took 30 years for the CAL pilot contract to be brought up to industry standard. CAL pilots made less money and had no work rules, for 30 years. Lorenzo and 1000 CAL scabs won.

You would think they would be more pizzed off about scabs

So what brought this topic up today? The timing alone might lead some to incorrectly associate it with the loss of a great guy last night on his way to Seattle. Tailwinds Rocky
