All pilots should be aware that effective November 1, 2013, all telephone lines to Crew Scheduling will be electronically recorded. These recordings are tools to help provide protections from misunderstandings for our pilots, our Crew Schedulers, and to help protect our operational reliability. The contents of these recordings will be available, when necessary, to Flight Operations management and to representatives of ALPA.

Huh? Were they not recorded at L-UAL previously? They have been for a long time at L-CAL.

Does this also include calls to the FODM?

Yes, these have been recorded for a long time. I think the method is changing. Now all they will have to do is a search function for words they are tracking, like, oh, say.....sick list? Used to be something like a hamster running on the recording coil. :(

This includes calls to everyone. When you call that friendly representative at the pilot service center, you're being recorded. Kill em' with kindness.

passive aggressive!! If you HAVE to tell someone to GFY... tell a story about a pilot telling someone to GFY!

You can't tell that story. Most of them have been fired. There's more than one way to get your point across.
