I finally got a hold of manpower planning...yup all awards removed preparing for a re-run ALL bases

It looks like the vacation awards are back out again. However, nothing posted about windows for the secondary bidding period.

Although, the Vacation tab is back in CCS, and the award seems to be there contrary to the ALPA SSC E-mail this morning.

If the vacation awards that are currently posted are true then I have a problem with what's posted. Email has been sent.

This is a f...ing joke. Everyone should call in sick during summer at least once in July and August.

What is going on right now? Are they going to rerun the vacation bid again? I tried emailing and calling and have not received a response. I guess I'm lost at what stage of the process were are at now. What's listed as my vacation award in ccs right now 9:30pm central time can not be right and no one at the company is responding to me.

Blast mail from EWR CP stated that if you had less than 14 days if vacation, you had to wait until after Secondary to bid, what a screwed up system!

Is the vacation award right now in ccs accurate or inaccurate? I had one bid group that awarded nothing. 1 of the weeks had 9 people junior and another week had 13 people junior to me that got those weeks.

Last MEC blastmail said they scrapped the software program they were using and started over. I would expect another blastmail when an accurate award is published.

Even CPO has no clue how to interpret the latest results.
I have 19 days as a result of switching to new system from October to February; however I was told that I can not bid 14 day, I can only bid 7 or 21, to cover all 19 days; otherwise my bid will fail. I was awarded my original 14 days despite of what CPO has told me with the remaining of 5 days available for bidding. But I just do not see the logic in what CPO told me. CPO claims that my vacation bid must include only 7 or 21 bid groups, so I can not have reminder of anything that can not be divided by 7; however, 19 can not divide by 7 anyway I play this. So I asked them again, why not bid combination of 14 and 7, since if I bid 21, computer will assign 19 anyway, just like bidding 7 for the reminder of 5, computer will assign 5? So CPO got really confused and told me they'll get back to me. :-)
Like I said before, f...ing joke this place is.:D It's run like a start up airline not legacy.

They didn't scrapped it, they are working on two new alternatives concurrently to existing one.

So secondary vacation bid is open, and now with 5 days remaining in my pool of vacation days for 2014 I show no days available to bid.
Since it take the whole first quarter of 2014 to bid for current year's vacation; can we start bidding for 2015 and 2016 vacation NOW!

Jetlink this is crap. I wanted to do the 7/7/5 but was told I couldn't due that and that is why my 2nd bid group failed. In my second bid group I was bidding for 7days but I had to put in 14 if I wanted to be awarded anything. I was told it had to be broken up 7/12. It is in the ccs vacation help guide, but I guess I didn't read carefully enough. I'm glad you were able to get it though.

On the first go round I got the 7/7 with 5 to go.
