Maybe this is another cost saving measure for SMI/J. If there's nobody in the lounges, then they save big bucks on food and drink. We are doomed.

Because they are British and they know better ;)

“Since the customer did not meet these criteria he did not have access to the lounge. We are reaching out to the customer and appreciate his business.”

We will see how this plays out, but according to a UAL response he was trying to get into the Global First Lounge without a GF ticket and/or GF Status. That is different from the plain old United Club featuring cold $3 Heineken stubbies (or Sismek sized as I like to call it) on draft which requires the membership card. Btw Will.i.am sure sucked up the Super Bowl half time a few years back.

Dead on with your post. Will.I.Am could have never been lying....Right? I am sure they love accusing our customers of having fake lounge cards every chance they get. It amuses them and they are on a mission of destroying UAL.....Please.......Can UAL go after his 10 years over the hill ***. That does it....No more Black Eyed Peas ever....But Fergie on the other hand.........:D Some guilty pleasures can not be ignored.....
