Actual UAL Pilot's Forum

I've noticed a lot of people on here, especially new hires, that are asking questions about the contract, etc. This APC forum is not the official UAL Pilots forum. The actual official forum where the pilots actually are is this one

www.ualpilotsforum.org

The benefit of that forum is that there are hundreds of pilots who post on there regularly, as well as the contract experts, etc who can actually answer these questions and who will do so in a timely manner. Usually these questions get answered within minutes.

If you are not a United pilot you can't get on the other forum. The administrators actually verify your identity and you have to use your real name and not a handle.

If you want contract advice, etc answered accurately and timely, then that is the forum. It does have its trolls, just like this one, but at least you know who they are.

If you have any PBS questions...especially new hires, feel free to ask me on this forum. I was a PBS SME. Happy to help.

Hey Scrappy! Do you know what the deal is with the recent news regarding Crew Companion? Is the company going to pay for the service? I'm. It sure, but one cold use CC to build line inasmuch as PBS does, but with a more user friendly interface.

What say you?

I got a blast mail from CC saying it was coming and they were suspending payment processing for current UAL account holders.

Good question...I think it is coming but not sure how great it is with the current CCS interface. I personally have never used it so don't know how much of a game changer it is or not.

Does PBS allow you to select airplane specific trips, such T-38C or F-16? Or would you have to select takeoffs and landings where you wanted them, such as RND or TUS?:D

The interface will only be limited by the amount of data that the company makes available. That's kinda of a "no duh" but my point is UA pilots getting CC is a huge win IMO. The owner of CC is a former (furloughed not coming back) pilot who has an unrelenting work ethic, talent, and outstanding customer service. You know, just like UA management.

I've used the product in the past, and though it was outstanding. It'll be interesting to see the data the company supplies.

"Official" according to who? It's not ALPA and it's not UA. Just another dude with a web forum, right?

No. It is THE forum. It's the one we moved to when ALPA stopped hosting it on their site.

And it's the only forum that is scrubbed for actual United pilots from the seniority list and no scabs allowed.
