Retired UAL Skynet/empres

I'm trying to help my dad out. He's retired L-UAL and it's been YEARS since he's bothered to log onto his skynet/flyingtogether/empres or whatever.

He's trying to travel and list for a flight. I type in his file #, U05XXXX it says it's not an athorized user.

Was there a change in the merger, or were retirees given a new number to use to list themselves, etc?

Thanks.

I dunno. But have him call his former Chief Pilot Office and have the admin folks there help him out. And tell him I hope he's enjoying his retirement!

Try this format of u05xxxx. Lower case u and make sure the number ZERO is used instead of the letter "O". Also, you don't need the leading ZERO if the file number is a six digit number.

Use this login page: https://united-login.ual.com/nidp/id...edential&sid=0

If you need to call the flight office call DCAFO - they still have many well seasoned UAL people working in the office. Hope it helps.

Thanks, looks like a phone call is in order. I was using the lower case u and the 0 as my dad is a 53XXX vintage

Thanks much, I ran across that on a google search. Looks like there's a number to call that can help specifically with his skynet stuff.

Please make sure he's sitting down when he finally get's in to list.
Our wonderful new merged airline will have a new seniority date for him.
It's not enough to stab the retirees in the back they twist the knife every day.

Yeah, he learned that before the merge. Between not being able to get him and my mom on a flight due to the changes in priority as well as loads he just gave up and now buys tickets when he and my mom want to travel. Hence the reason he hasn't been on skynet for years, I mean YEARS.

However, this one flight that he's trying to get on is insanely open and is operated by mainline so it's a safe(er) bet he can get on an BP pass, oooops, I mean SA pass.
