15-03 Training?

Has anyone who got an award been given a training date yet?

rp2pilot 10-29-2014 11:51 AM

Meh.. I have a bid from Vacancy 15-01, published effective date of 12/31/14, and don't have a training date yet. (Watching the activations to figure out when pay provisions kick in, however)

I was in that group and I have a December 16 class date.

Good point. I have a Captain bid on the 737. I am currently a 777 FO.

In the "For What It's Worth" department, scheduling said it would probably be some time before I went to class because they were under staffed on the 777. I have a PT scheduled next week and when I was in CCS to check on class times, I noticed that my 737 training had already been scheduled.

Training sooner rather than later is OK with me, but it cancelled a Christmas vacation.

I wasn't sure if they were able to cancel vacation for training anymore .. is it something you have to waive? I looked through the UPA but couldn't find anything about it.

Anyone know how moving bases works? I am on reserve in one base at the end of the month and got activated to my new base and will probably bid the first few days of that month so I will have a few days in a row over the activation date. How do they handle that?

Well, I didn't waive it, so I guess they can do it if they have to.

Frankly, I am ok with it since I have December 25, 26, and 27 off in the schedule as it is.

Training center is closed on Christmas day and Thanksgiving day.

15-03?? I have a bid from 14-10 and don't have class dates yet. As far as I'm concerned, right now I don't want class dates. I'm being paid the new equipment, who cares?
