756 Training Question

I just got my schedule for 756 training and it is showing half of it in IAH, is this a mistake or do they still have a sim down there? I thought they moved all the 756 training to DEN.

Prob intentional. Since they're only going to teach you half of what they used to, think of it as a metaphor for the whole experience.

Have fun!

Prolly not a mistake. There is still 1 756 FTD and 1 756 sim down there. In addition, you may be finishing in Mia or Las as we have sim time leased and TK dudes bidding TDY. It's CRAZY.

I did part of mine in IAH. I'm partial to Denver, but one big advantage in IAH: it is the only sim in the system that is actually configured like a 756!! The TK sims are double-duty as 76T and 756. They swap a few boxes between sessions from one type to the other, but many things are "not quite right." (Audio panel, radar panel, transponder, some test switches, maybe some lighting switches).

Ironically, the IAH sim is the one they plan to get rid of.....I hope they don't.

Stupid training question. Preparing for MVLOE logged into CCS>Training>CBT with my coID looking for 2014ASR. Did training forget to turn it on for me or is the CQDL stuff on ULN all we need to do now?

I recently did one week of 756 sim in IAH and the rest was in DEN. Just an FYI.

Did they move the 767-400 sim to DEN? They had one 757 and 1 767-400 sim in IAH. I did my last PC in IAH and the instructor said the 757 sim wouldn't survive the tear down and move to DEN.

Yes, there are now (2) 767-400 sims at TK. IAH has one 752 FTD and one 752 sim

The CQDL Trimester schedule on ULN is all you need. You will see that on your CCS Training Qualifications screen that ASR expiration and Global Contrails have been removed.
