Picking up a trip on a vacation day

Anyone know how to add a trip on a vacation day? I want to pick up a two day that starts on the last day of my vacation, (nothing quite like vacation in February!) but when I try to request it on the Seniority Trip Trade, it says "overlaps into an absence". Any ideas?

don't think you can do it under new contract. Under old CAL contract, I think it was allowed.

:D

My dream is to have a vacation so long, that I have to go back for landings.

I'm in the middle of 65 days off. Combo vaca/cola. Not enough to have to go back for landings.

Somewhere I saw a note saying to call scheduling and have them move the vacation day and then you can do the pickup.
May be dated info though

You Sir, are my new hero! You are also a beacon of righteousness hanging just above the horizon of a vast sea of miasma and *hoarage. I genuflect in your general direction. I will hoist multiple Kentucky beverages in your honor, and to your coup. You have elevated The Brotherhood and have left a fine example for our neophytes. Let us imbibe!

I'm a half-winger and flew my first AMS with a captain that dequalled due to vacation and COLA. Luckily we had a bunkie that sat between us like Captain Kirk and called the shots.

Hopefully this mindset fade away with the "a dollar for me, profession, where?" attitudes.....

Flew with a guy who was ****ed he couldn't get overs because of M5D.

Must of been the same guy who flipped on the lights as he walked into the "quiet room" yapping on his cell. Me and the other 4 guys sleeping were impressed. Mindless douchery abounds.

So yeah, you can't fly on a vacation day.

I swear we should have a fighting pit for terds like those. Just bash them a few times. It amazes me the lack of courtesy and common sense I see among some of us.
