How long after SLI before you had a joint bid

I'm LUS. I was wondering how long it took after the SLI came out before you guys had a joint system wide equipment bid. Thanks.

We have fenced and unfenced equipment. We also had different versions of the 757 which took time to integrate. If memory serves, the first jet that trained with mixed crews was the Guppy if memory serves. As for the timeframe, well I defer to others for that

Every seat/base was biddable except for 747 and 787, and the first joint bid was within a week after SLI was finalized.

And all the Guppy left seats were full from 14-02V.

I have friends that are Guppy Captains that wouldn't be now because they got bumps (not trained in time as guppy FO) into seats that had someone junior to them. So yes, there are guys out of seniority in those seats, but there are also pilots moving into those seats that a) wouldn't have been able to hold them without 14-02V and b) have better seniority in those seats because of all the out of seniority pilots there as a reserve cushion.

So I'm over it. It wasn't those individual pilots fault that management put out 14-02V, they were just taking advantage of a chance to upgrade before their actual seniority would have allowed it with a joint seniority list being in place.

How long did it take at US/AWA?

PG64,

Completely different vehicles but I agree, time to move on. All the best.
