Definitely Monday evening in Characters. Gotta start building up your alcohol tolerance for the next two nights...

BTW, say "Hi" to Zach for me. I taught him to fly in the late 1980s. Luckily, he was hired AFTER me so I didn't have to deal with him being senior to me! LOL

N89510 03-07-2015 07:08 AM

See everybody Tuesday (Monday night).

Yeah, wear your pin! Every scab does!
I get the unity thing..but come on man, don't tell some new hire or me for that fact, what to do...have you ever heard of tact??

Welcome aboard boys and girls...it's a great place and a great ride!
Please wear your half wings alpa pin...it tends to generate FREE food and beer.....

TeamRamRod 03-09-2015 03:08 PM

How does UAL go about who chooses base and airframe first? For example, DAL uses the last 4 of SSN, highest number (9999) picks first and so on. Thanks!

Terrain Inop 03-09-2015 03:15 PM

DOB in class, oldest = most senior

ScooterE6 03-11-2015 06:20 AM

Any word on how the drop went? As planned? Seems like a lot more discussion on the other threads regarding future changes in A/C and domicile locations. Inside info on how the options may be shifting are great for dinner talks with the spouse. Thanks. Patiently waiting in the kiddie pool.

Ozpilot414 03-11-2015 06:21 AM

14 DCA 757
7 SFO 737

Firsttimeflyer 03-11-2015 06:37 AM

Awesome!

Are they all new hires or any guys returning? If so what aircraft/base did they take

Ozpilot414 03-11-2015 06:43 AM

One return 737 lax

Save me Baby Jesus!

ScooterE6 03-11-2015 07:24 AM

Thanks Oz! Guess not all EWR as initial post stated? Did it change before the Tuesday start (email/phone notification to new hires) or did everyone find out once they got there?

aviatrixRN 03-11-2015 09:48 AM

Hello..was that LAX 737 part of the class drop or was it a someone returning from military leave and exercising their right to go wherever their seniority holds?

Just curious..I am most likely returning in May and hoping to get LAX 737 as soon as I can.

BMan69 03-11-2015 10:19 AM

Not much point worrying about base/equip til class starts apparently...I start in couple weeks.
