Where were the votes and alarm when smaller bases were closing and pilots were being displaced? (That's rhetorical, I know this stuff doesn't matter unless it's affecting you, isn't that right council 171).

I give this resolution a high change of being disposed of at the MEC by being shown as "Discussed" and will waste time and money doing so. Nice job IAH. In unity mofo's

Wasn't aware of the EWR situation not being at LCAL. Thanks for bringing that to light. Very telling

Are you trying to be cagey or are you just really junior?

Neither, just not sure why you think Leneski has IAH roots.

No, not jealous, just seasoned enough in the industry to know that 4 year Captain bids at a Major are an anomaly and shouldn't be expected to last. If you were hired in 2005 or so from a Regional, I understand that your lack of experience with "The Show" biases your expectations, but you'll eventually find your bearings. When I was a new 4 year Captain back in '99, Rick Dubinsky, our MEC Chairman, came and talked to us at the "new Captain" seminar. He said, "you 4 year Captains had better put that stripe on with superglue 'cause that's the only way you're going to keep it." He was right, and I would say the same thing to the current crop of abnormally premature 4 stripers. Besides, my F/O buddies down in IAH tell me that the junior Captains are horrible to fly with, so maybe a few years back in the right seat will give them better perspective.

Funny, all the F/O's I fly with say the same about the LUAL guys coming to the 737. They hate flying with them.
You may want to look at where the Delta and SWA CAPT. Slots are going. Those who have been at more then one airline have a pretty well rounded industry experience instead of only the LUAL way.

Not the feedback I receive from the first officers I fly with. Of course, I don't solicit garbage either. What a stupid conversation to have. So many things to talk about us vs. them not being one of them.

Dear Lord,

With You and St. Christopher by my side, please protect me from the divisive dolts who (spread hate within our ranks and pardon those who cross the line both in fact and in kind.) May we embrace our new collective group as an undivided force against the powers of an obvious inept mgt team and stooges located in IAH who cannot see the reality of what a unified group can and will achieve. And for those that are displaced may they one day regain their positions when their seniority allows it.

Amen.

Try and keep your cool, don't let the downgrade destroy your fragile self image, and use the time back in the right seat to figure out the things that you like and dislike about different Captains. You'll be better in the left seat when you get back there.

The really HILARIOUS thing about that statement is that most LUAL guys have experience at more than one major airline. One previous national and one previous major for me. But a guy like sleeves has such limited experience in the industry that the mere concept is beyond his grasp.

I fly with a ton of previous Braniff, Pan Am, Eastern, Continental, SWA, UPS, Fed Ex, TWA and list goes on folks. Sleeves you've confirmed that you are a bright eyed, bushy tailed kid with lower than average intellect and zero critical thinking skills. You should think about quitting before you dig any deeper. But I doubt that is going to happen. Right?

Oooff, this made me shed a tear. So many great people! Their lives so affected but endure and carry on. We are blessed and cursed at the same time. And then there is sleeves lol.

Newsflash...want to know what happens when I fly with a guy I didn't enjoy flying with? At the end of the trip, I shake his hand, tell him to enjoy his days off, and go home. Usually nothing is ever said (unless the guy is a complete epic jerkoff). And that is probably the norm on the line...so it would behoove one to convince themselves that they are on everyone's bid list just yet.

The 747 deal was a carve out as well. A displacement is a displacement. Why couldn't they be subject to the normal process as well? What makes them so special? Either you support both or support neither, unless you are a hypocrite.

The whole intention of this resolution is to prevent a pseudo-flush bid a year later, one that Ineptner so desperately wants. I have zero trust in that divisive buffoon.

Okay, I'm not sure, are you asking me a question?
