Military Leave
To the current reservists and guardsmen,
Do you guys get any pushback from the company for submitting military leave in order to maintain your currency and/or proficiency? I am starting class on 09JUN and plan on turning in military leave after sim training to get current again and was just wondering what the process is and if there’s any difficulty in doing it. Thanks. |

Thanks. You might want to think about completing your OE before going back to the military for any significant period of time. There are a few time limits (as well as your own comfort and proficiency) that you don't want to trifle with while on probation. Just an opinion, welcome aboard. There's now a form on CCS, couldn't be easier. |

Thanks. You'll then be on probation until you've completed 165 work days, and 12 bid periods. Extended mil leave will push that back. Not a big deal there, just be aware. |
I'm with everyone else. Finish IOE then go back and get current.
