Sure, there are no "new" orders, but they are taking delivery of 19+ Airbi from China this year and next....not quite the numbers the 737 is having, but 19 new to us airplanes sounds like growth to me

Thx for the info. I know it's all speculation (at least on my end). I'm hoping to get the bus and eventually out west, like Houston.

Definitely bid for the bus if you want IAH.

From what I have been reading, the bus fleet has better trips, though there is not much moment since there are no new Airbus orders. The growth is coming from the 737 side. So you figure get in the 737 and get a line sooner.

Ummm, no. The 73 trips, especially out of EWR, are way better. 73 EWR is probably the best flying in the system.

What makes you say that? Did you read the Crew Resources Outlook last month? It shows equally overstaffed by the same level for both the Bus and Guppy in IAH. That's for next summer. The bus growth in IAH is done. Had a friend that went through the CA charm school last month and was told the same thing.

Much better chance of getting to IAH on the Bus than the Guppy in the future. I was hired in April of this year and have guys junior to me on the Bus in IAH. That's not true of the Guppy after the large displacements.

I'd have to look at the bid packages. I don't care to speculate. It's my understanding that 73 trips are generally better. We do a lot of the Caribbean and transcons.
