When is that bid supposed to be anyway?

Nothing has officially been put out on when. They just said after number 25. It's supposed to be to get ready for the summer flying so my guess is that it would be soon. It's usually 2-3 months until the effective date, and a couple months for training. So 4-6 months before most are out there post IOE and flying a line after it's published.

Great news. Good to close this chapter and another unifying day.

Maybe!

I am happy the fences are coming down. For the combination of the two airlines, I always thought any fence was wrong. I always preferred more opportunity, for all.

Here is to more opportunity.

I think it will be a week earlier than that. Just my guess. It takes 10 days from announcement of a vacancy bid to it's close. Then it takes two or three days to publish the award. And then a time period for disputes. I'd guess they'd want all this done prior to planning folks taking off for the holidays.

Didn't you read the news from the latest blastmail? Apparently delivery of number 25 has been delayed indefinitely. Nos. 26-50 will be delivered on scheduled though :p

I keeed, I keeed!

I figure that the company will wait until number 25 is actually delivered before they put out the bid. That is scheduled to occur on November 30th. Assuming that actually happens on Monday, I figure we could actually see the bid by late next week.
