Jan. 12th New Hire Class

Hi everyone,

I'm getting super excited to meet you all. I thought we might get a head start on how our bid may go on day one.

9 - 737
7- 320

I'm leaning toward the 320 just a personal preference. At 34, I think I'll be somewhere in the middle. Also, I hoping to get EWR eventually as itd be home base for at least a few years.

Anyone else want to chime in?
Of course, it could all be for not.

If you're going to live in/near EWR, go guppy. The flying is better.

This, unless you have a very strong desire to fly the bus.

And don't worry about "eventually"----you'll either get EWR on your initial bid or the next vacancy.

Also looking forward to getting started. Leaning Guppy and eventually want IAH. 44 years gray. It will be great to meet those in the class. Cheers!

AugustasGoon and WantTheJob it'll be very good to meet you. I imagine you both will have enough seniority to get your choice.
I flew the ATR for years and I hear it has some similar design logic with the Bus. However, I'd like to start flying Global ASAP (75/76), so maybe the 737 would be a better choice with Boeing design logic. Either way, EWR will be a good place to start.

I'll be in 777 transition training then and would like to buy a beer for the new hires. Congrats all.

Did everyone attend a job fair to get the interview?

Is this the first class of January?
