No more System Timetable
I went in today to download the system timetable off the (regular public) UAL website. It was not there.
I contacted UA through their "help" phone number. After speaking to someone who didn't have a clue what I was referring to, at one point I was told that was proprietary information, ha. I was given to a supervisor who also didn't have a clue. She asked "other" supervisors; one of which who had supposedly been there 10 yrs told her, "we used to have them but ever since we merged we did away with them". This is patently false; I have a downloaded System Timetable, that I downloaded (from the UAL website) around Christmas and it expired on Jan 2 2016. I am retired and there ain't much you can do "out here". If anyone could find out if it's gone missing on purpose or by mistake I would appreciate it. Thanks |

The online version is here: https://www.united.com/web/enUS/apps/travel/timetable/default.aspx |

Proprietary info. Don't want that kind of info to get into the hands of the flying public!
"You going to Cleveland? No? Then you don't need to know when those flights are." |
The timetable is also available using the United app. After opening the app, tap the three horizontal lines in the top left corner. Scroll down and you'll see it under Travel Tools. You must have a data connection or wifi for it to work.

Just by way of clarity here.
For some of you newer types; they have a page that comes up called Timetable that allows you to look at flights between city pairs. That is NOT the System timetable. The System timetable shows "all" flights to "all" destinations. These have been around forever; they were printed and handed out to all before the internet. I remember when United published the System Timetable, indicating "only" nonstop flights (for awhile), there was so much complaining they stopped it an went back to conventional style. This will be sorely missed if they did stop "publishing" it. So handy to look at any airport and see ALL the nonstop coming in from anywhere so you could determine how best to get in and get out of anywhere. I tried to upload my last copy of the timetable which just expired on Jan 2 2016 but couldn't do it. I assume it's too large (pdf) Little by little they just whittle away every thing that was actually good. Crying shame guys, crying shame. Thanks for the feed back and if anybody finds an actual reason for it's demise i'd love to know what it is. |
No more System Timetable
My apologies, I now understand what you're talking about. A few years ago, maybe 10, there used to be a subscription one could buy and they would mail you a book a few times a year that contained exactly what you're looking for. I can't remember their name, and think that the age of the smartphone may have killed them off.

Flight Status | Flight Schedules by OAG - Real-time Global Flight Data Did a cursory look; they have downloadables, but probably have to pay for it. |
