Nice! 8,446 miles (7,339NM) is a bit of a journey!

Correction made. Thanks for the clarification.

Please re-open the Singapore Flight attendant base.

Seems to me that this announcement is a direct result of the TA passage. Not sure if this is manpower positive or negative v.s. the SIN tag out of NRT.

Asian tag flying blows. Hard. Hard on the body, and takes an efficient 3 and turns it into an inefficient 7 day.

XIY sucks. CTU sucks. They are only good if you like 500 rvr due to pollution.

How about we do just the opposite...people might not rank us at the bottom anymore.

I did it for years, so I'm quite familiar with the tags. If I never go to China again, I'll be thrilled. I'm just wondering how, if at all, doing away with them affects total manpower levels.

Is the nrt-sin tag double iro? Sfo - sin will require 2 ca 2 fo.

It just might. Depends on the block time. Section 5-I-3 just might kick in, however there are several ways to staff it.

The NRT SIN tag is not augmented. Only one Cap and one FO. SFO-SIN will be double augmented 2 Cap 2 FO.

I believe all current tag flying is non-augmented. The bunkies do a 3 day trip, the flying FO and CAP do a 6-8 day trip. The bunkie trips used to be senior as it was a short, high value trip.

Just a swag, it should be manpower positive doing SFO SIN and dropping the tag. And it should be "crew positive" in that the trips are all much more efficient, and less fatiguing.

With the exception of NRT-HNL, which is augmented, all the other widebody tag flying is not augmented.

AAAGGGGHHHH. I knew I would miss one. LHR to DEL was also augmented, but it has been gone for 16 years. NRT SIN is probably on the limit of what can be non-augmented. I did NRT BKK a couple of times. 7 hours, back side of the clock both ways. I was wacked for a week after that.

Thanks. I was referring to the SFO-SIN and not the tags. I agree that there are no augmented tags to my knowledge.

It will be 1 CAP and 3 F/O's

Can you please explain this?

5-I-3-a However, a Flight scheduled for more than sixteen (16) hours may not be flown by a double-augmented crew consisting of a Captain and three (3) First Officers.
