Liberia Layover

Anyone know what the hotel charges for an additional guest in your room? Thinking of bringing my son. Thanks.

I think you'll have the call the hotel directly so I don't want to give a precise number but it's surprisingly expensive, IMHO.

I remember something like $50 or $60 per night for a guest

jetflyger 03-04-2016 04:17 AM

Thanks. I'll call the hotel and ask

Higher than that, ( I paid around $90), and if you have the 30+ hour layover they'll charge you for two nights.

I asked last time I was down there. It changes, just like the room rates would change, from day to day. For my layover it would have been $140.

Also, you'll need to get your son back to the airport earlier than our normally scheduled transportation as check-in is closed much earlier than a domestic flight. Probably more than an hour. I asked about transportation as well as it was $55 for an airport transfer.

Thanks everyone. Tried calling but no one knows it seems..

Not too worried about having him back earlier as he should be able to check in using the UA app and most places down south is pretty good at letting us bring a family member with us going through customs.

Guess we just have to see how it goes..

This should be good. I'll be looking forward to follow-up report.

Liberia? Not sure if I'd want any of my family members stranded in that location...
