New Uniform Vendor
 

Saw that we are exploring better quality uniforms. I purchased a new coat (the old one's stripes had faded) and 2 new ties last week. I normally tie the necktie once and leave it that way for a while. I made maybe 7 attempts before I got the length perfect. Noticed after tying it 7 times (max) that the fabric was already fraying around the knot. Then on the 3rd DAY of wearing the new coat one of the buttons popped off. Amazing that M&H is still in business. Glad we're finally pursuing better quality. I'd pay twice as much for any of the items for better quality. Have not experienced this type of low quality clothing since knock-off t-shirts in Seoul...

Indeed. They simply procured exactly what UAL asked for. (i.e. cheap)

Understood. In any event it's ridiculous. I tied the tie less than 10 times and it's already fraying. Wow.

They went cheap on the TIES to give you the bigger wings and hat emblem. :)

IIRC, Flight Operations wasn't mentioned in the new uniforms...
