Short-Call question
 

There are a total of 3 pilots in my SILO each of us good for 2 days starting tomorrow. Two pilots(myself included) have had 1 SC each and the other Pilot has Zero. I got the SC assignment. It was my understanding that SC will be assigned to pilots in the silo with the least amount of un-used short-calls. But in fact, the other pilot with ZERO SC got skipped over to assign it to me.

What does the FIFO list look like?

I'd look at FIFO. I think that takes precedence over SC MTD. I'm a narrow body dude, so between flying assignments and availability due to SC end time plus 10 hours, FIFO is almost always the deciding factor with multiple dudes/ladies in the same silo. YMMV

This is correct but you have to have 2 unused SC.

Yeah they would have assigned it to him had you had 2 unused shortcalls as then you would be getting an hour of add pay if the SC went unused, but since this was a freebie it would go to #1 in the 2 day bucket.
