Where is Evey and Diana? They were the two "competent" ones in the flight office.

I think Diana went to LAX......... I think I saw her on one of the recent bids on one of the widebodies out there. I'm not sure if she's in the CPO out there or not like she was in Houston.

Evey is out on medical leave.

You are correct about Diana. Her hubby is stationed west coast.

If the IAH Flight Office wants to run the base like this, then that's her business, but Mr. Munoz likely won't appreciate two of our best peeps being pushed aside while on medical leave.

I think it should be discussed. Like many a "sensitive" topic it should be done so cordially and professionally. Those in the know should simply state what they know. To me it seems like cross-cultural discrimination, but I don't have enough facts yet to determine for myself.

It makes a difference to me, because I want to know what this "leader" is all about. It's good to know who's got your back and who won't be willing/able.

Flame away, but I think we should be able to discuss things like this. It's the pilots base, the pilots domicile and it's our managers who make a difference (or not) for those of us on the line.

there may be a concerted effort to wash things under the bridge. I don't think anyone minded pointing out the obvious flaws and failures of Jeff Smizek. So, those same folks shouldn't mind looking at the relationships and decision making of Howard and Bebe.

Hadn't heard anything around the base (prior), and when it showed up here, it seemed to fall under two possibilities: unsubstantiated rumor, or a private matter. Persons named who couldn't address the allegations.

Under the premise of "Innocent until proven guilty," and to keep from sullying reputations, it seemed best to de-identify and redact.
