UAL standby priority

Does anyone know if jumpseaters or buddy passes have a higher priority on UAL. I was asked this by someone else. Thanks!

Those are two different things. Buddy passes are listing for the cabin and jumpseaters are listing for the jumpseat. If you are listed only for the jumpseat then you will only get a seat in the cabin if there are empty seats after all the buddy passes are boarded.

Yah I know they are different, he just wanted to know for the back. Thanks though!

Yes buddy passes come before off-line jumpseaters.

Are you asking about online UAL jumpseaters over buddy passes?

If a UAL pilot does not list for the cabin and only for the JS then the PA will not given them a seat in back unless they are added to the SB list. The buddy will get the seat, if there is one available (which on many flights is a big fat zero).

Is that an answer to your question?

Was asking about non-company JSer, I think the question has been answered.
