787 training

Trying to find out about the training in IAH on the 787. Is there any good gouge out there? What to focus on? As well as any hot topics? I am coming back to the line after some time away. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Have the training department upload all the training materials onto your iPad. Follow the directions and read the entire outline for each event. There are no surprises. The average pilot will be bored to tears because the course is soo long.

The fourth day you will be flying the FTD. Know the call-outs perfectly.
My 83 year old mother could pass this course.

Relax, this is a gentleman's airplane, by far the easiest airplane out there to fly.

Fly Safe

That's an understatement.

If you've ever flown the 756 the box is exactly the same - and the ETOPS procedures are the same as well.

If you're coming from the 73 - the FMC is a little different, but easy enough.

If you're current on the N.A. tracks in a 764 - you'll be board stupid.
