Ive done a few SLS layovers, decent rooms,nice pool, chill clean casino, good restaurants, nice gym easy to get to other stuff on the strip, it's not bad at all. I look forward to being back at Westin but for a temp spot no biggie.....I have other places I'd Write up over this place in a heartbeat like some of the ridiculous downtown 14.1 hr layovers we are forced to do with 4:00 am pickups.

Oh for the days of Karaoke night at the Greek Isles, after a day of Ted flying. We knew the recession was biting Vegas hard when they finally let us in to the Westin.

We stay with you at the SLS. We also stay with you at the doubletree MEM. I can't believe you guys are hammering the SLS and not the MEM hotel. That place is a real dump!

You could hear airline crews throughout the world rejoicing when they finally blew that dump up.

It was such a dump that it was the place they once had the regional competition for Ms Topless America, or something like that. I was a new hire and wondered if this was normal. Saw some (clothed) competitors outside the venue. Brain freeze. I hate this hotel, but ....

Never done a Memphis layover. The hallways of the SLS made me feel like I was in a horror movie. Snapped a photo of the lobby at 9 pm...not a sole in sight besides desk clerks.

And the Greek Isle's featured entertainer, "Dr. Naughty, the X-rated Hypnotist" .. you can't make this stuff up.

It's been said that most of the big Casino / Hotels don't want aircrew business because they get more money from the gambling tables, not from the room rental.
