Monthly PBS Bidding Help

Can anybody explain to me why I am unable to reach the PBS bidding screen through CCS. I'm getting some security page from Oracle and it can't be bypassed. I can get Crew Companion thru CCS OK but can't get anything regarding pay or bidding. Did I miss the memo????

Had the same problem yesterday, I just restarted everything and it worked the next time I tried. Good luck

Restarted several times; same Oracle message. No problem getting Crew Companion but can't get to pay advice screen or Bidding screen. Even when I try to log out, I get the Oracle screen.

Note - after several fruitless attempts using Chrome Browser on my Mac, I switched to Safari and everything worked fine. Must of been an issue with Chrome

I have been using Firefox on my MAC for over 10 years and it has been working flawlessly with CCS.

It can be a compatibility issue, or permissions if using IE. CCS and the direct link both seem to be working for me. Try the direct link:

Not bidding related, but I found a recent problem on Firefox while in EmployeeRes. I was unable to select an EconomyPlus seat for company travel. Another friend of mine was only allowed to pick middle seats when aisles and windows open. Not sure if it was temporary with that version of Firefox, but advised to switch browsers and E+ came up as selectable.

With Smisek's departure we are no longer and IT company with wings, so it's understandable that IT doesn't work anymore. :D

Had the same thing while trying to access CBT's today. I switched to firefox which worked fine. For Chrome, clearing my history and restarting the browser fixed the problem. It's probably a bad cookies code somewhere in your memory.

Clear the cookies. That did it for me.

I would also recommend bookmarking the pbs home screen. Sometimes ccs doesn't want to open pbs, but the direct link will work.

Newly posted CCS message upon successful login:

Since yesterday, we’ve been working with IT to determine PBS access issues that some pilots have been experiencing. The issue stems from the single access management solution change that United Airlines implemented changing the login screen and authentication to Flying Together. You may have noticed the login page has changed. PBS authenticates through Flying Together so it affects being able to login. If you are receiving the error “Oracle Access Manager Error” or experiencing issues with accessing PBS through CCS or bidding.ual.com please follow the steps below:
Close your browser
iPad
Settings -->Safari --> Clear History and Website Data

Android
Settings-->Application-->Internet (or your browser app) -->Internet Settings--> Advanced -->Clear history

Windows Laptop
Start-->Control Panel-->Internet Option -->Delete browser history--> OK/Apply

Mac
Open safari window-->History -->Clear history-->Clear All history --> Choose Clear History button

Chrome
Open Browser -> select “settings” from menu in the top-right side -> click “advanced settings” -> click “Clear browsing data” -> select “the beginning of time” and uncheck “browsing history” and “download history” -> click “Clear browsing data”.

Firefox
Open Browser -> select “history” from menu in the top-right side -> click “Clear Recent History” -> set “time range..” to “Everything” -> expand “details” and uncheck “browsing & download…” and “form & search..” -> click “clear now”

If none of this works, please contact the UAL IT help desk at 847.700.5800
