carry over trips

If your trip starts the last day of the bid month, lets say its a 4 day, and the remaining 3 days are flown in the following bid month, is all the trip pay seen on the following calendar month or does 5hrs get assigned to the previous month?

Thanks.

ONLY actual flight time for the first month, all other time in the next month. If you have a scheduled takeoff at 23:30 on the last day of the bid month, then only 0:30 time is credited to the bid month, the rest of the trip is credited to the next month.

Thanks Joe.

Since you're still awake, when do the trips for this month reopen? They are closed until crew companion starts executing trades on the 25th, correct?

They are visible on the 20th but start executing on the 24th. Crew Companion doesn't execute trades. CCS does.

The credit/pay for a leg that departs in one bid period and ends in another is all paid in the month the leg departed, not just the :30 minutes in this example. As you stated, all subsequent legs are credited in the later bid month. The per diem for the entire trip is paid in the later bid period.

Correct. The split way was the old LUAL system.

How is it possible for someone to have been assigned a trip in open time for January already? I was eye balling a trip that was in open time this morning, but now someone owns it. ???

IOE or the crew desk bought the trip for someone needing to consolidate 100 hrs.
