MLA and Vacation

Anyone know if you still get paid for vacation that was awarded if you subsequently take Mil Leave on those days?

If you're on vacation, you don't have to input any mil leave

yes you get paid.

However, the right way to do it is simply request MLLV for the days you need. Obviously you don't need MLLV while on vacation status.

Thanks for the help. I started a 6-month active duty order after the vacation was awarded and the order goes through then end of the current vacation cycle (end of April). It didn't seem to make sense to come off MLLV for just the vacation days. Just wondering if I will still get paid for the vacation days.

I see. leaves of over 90 days are of a different animal. You should call manpower planning or email them and ask them to move your vacation to a period of time where you will be back on property.
