With respect to DCA, the 737 will be growing, at the expense of the Airbus. Those 35 Captain bids on the Guppy aren't for new hires.

Gee ya think?

Curious where the bus flying is shifting to.

The good news is that it will cause backfills on the 747 CA side. FO side will shrink without backfill.
Yup. I can practically name them in advance.

The last Sfo 777 fo bid went down to #8968. If there are no backfills, we may not break the 4000s on this one.

Guys will be weighing their love of the 400 and the free bump vs. their "love" of Wan Chai.

Every now and then.

Look where the vacancies are for the Bus for future flying, because it won't be in D.C.

Well, there may be some truth to that, TODAY .. Tomorrow, who knows what the route planners will decide. EWR 320 was at 120, now at 70, but adding 10 slots .. so we're down about 40 seats from a year ago. If they decide to "dehub" the A320, things could change, and probably will 5 times in the next few years.

Can those words be used in the same sentence?

13 training days. So I'm guessing the entire course will eat up 15 to 16 days.

I am teaching one of these right now. It's seems like a pretty low stress course for the most part.

Going 777 to 787, will you need to reconsolidate? I tried searching and there seems to be some ambiguity as to whether it can be considered the same type as far as the FAA is concerned. I'm assuming you will get consolidated on both a/c.

I don't know the answer to that.
