Jumpseating

Jumpseating for the first time on Friday after being gone for mil leave and just checking that you can still list for the JS at the ticket counter and/or gate with both Delta and American?

Thanks!

Where at online for AA?

I'm trying to login to myidtravel but can't. Is there another website?

Myidtravel for AA through flyingtogether

I had a similar issue when I came back. Going directly to myidtravel wouldn't work, but did from the link on flyingtogether.

And that was very confusing.

AA is about the hardest airline to jumpseat with for that very reason. Just about everyone else that I have tried, just walk up to the gate agent. Might ask for your passport (been a long time since I've jumpsat on another carrier).

Download ALPA app... all JS info is there for every carrier.

For AA Jumpseat:
On flying together home page click travel. Then click on other airline / interline travel. Near the bottom of that page click on MYIDTravelListing. On that page, click confirm / next. Then click on commuter travel and fill out the form and it will generate a confirmation number. Then tell your AA friends what a pain in the a## it is.

I copied the link and created an icon on my company ipad. So I can get to it fast with cellular data during those crisis commuting moments.

Just a public FYI.... Jet Blue uses myidtravel exclusively as well for JS listing.

Welcome back and thanks for your service. I recommend you purchase EZCCS app from the Apple App Store. Set it up with your current passwords and then scroll down to "Travel". Tap "MyIdTravel - jumpseat listing" It will automatically log into My ID Travel. On the upper tool bar tap Commuter Travel and fill out the form, then go to American Airlines and select your flight. There are a few more steps in here but you can figure it out from there. Good Luck

Wow...if I may opine...8 posts, not including the first 2, about how to list with AA and only the 1 (the second post) about how to list with Delta. Quite the eye-opening difference in policy and procedure.

Anyway, good luck no matter how it all goes down.

Concur. American is a pain to jumpseat on. Last time I tried, their whole system went down and the plane left the gate with 19 empty seats. Gate agent called a supervisor, but by the time they figured it out, the plane had pushed.

How do you signup for the jumpseat with Southwest?

Can you sign up at the gate because ID90Travel doesn't give me the option to signup?

Yes, you can sign up at the gate. Some agents will give you a hard time if you don't list in advance on the phone, but the wait on hold to do so is sometimes ridiculous.

That all said, I was told in December by a SWA reservation agent that on 1 Jan it would be possible to list on MyIDTravel. Alas, as of today, I see that I still can't.
