Whalesurfer.....agreed...goes both ways. There's always the 1% out there. Perspective is a good thing.
Perspective. All of us stand on the shoulders of what those that went before us did. Awesome pilots and warriors. Because UPS wanted to fire all of them all the time. So they better be good. And yet they fought back coming up with crazy situations to keep UPS off balance. Drove UPS absolutely nuts.
The guy that bought the airplane is an '88 guy. Awesome pilot and warrior and I'm happy for his happiness on his dream purchase.

Well I would like to thank you for your kind support in my future. I was so unaware that my seniority was so offensive to you. The future of this pilot group is in such good hands for someone such as you to decide that your needs outweigh everyone else's. You have given me such a boost of millennial snowflake energy that I may just have to stay and in fact push to raise the retirement age even higher. I could use a boat to go with my airplane and need to stay longer to pay for it.
BTW, you obviously know who I am, Dan Drew MD11 Captain seniority number 111, (earned after 30 years here) and I would love to discuss this issue face to face, but it might be considered micro-aggression and you will probably be hiding in your safe place.
One more thing...It is MY seniority and MY MONEY. MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS and change your diaper.

Sorry, just to clarify. The post you're replying to didn't come from me. The partial quote might look like it did.
No idea what airplane he bought and frankly I'm not even sure which thread they're talking about?
I logged into b&g and didn't see any recent threads about an airplane purchase?

And my name is Chuck Patterson, MD-11 CPT, seniority #68. I am 60 years old and just diagnosed with cancer. I'd like to personally thank you for giving me the motivation to be cured from this awful disease and return to the line, much to your dismay. I'm sure you and your kind would love to **** on my grave. Sorry dude but I ain't dead yet and I promise you when I am, I'll haunt you forever.
