Default UPS 747 Question

Don't have a dog in the fight but quick question for you in the know. Is the 747 400 & 800 going to be same type and operated as same aircraft? Apologies if already asked and answered.

I'm not a UPS guy, but the -400 and -8 are a common type. Atlas operates them together as one fleet, I would be surprised if UPS doesn't do the same.

Same TR for the 400 and -8, just need differences training.

That is the current plan.

Consider that we operate the B757/767 as one fleet ... with 2 aircraft types and 3 engine models. The B747 will be finally be as "standardized" as the rest of the fleets.

Hey, be happy. When UniCal merged, I think they had the 757-200/300 and 767-200/300/400. 5 models and who knows how many engines.
