Ok, if they were shocked then they didn't do their research before coming and also held some grandiose expectations for a flying job, both dumb. Toxic culture? Whatever. Sometimes annoying graduating to arrogant dicks from time to time, sure, but UPS is far from toxic for the time being. And I've got news for ya, DAL and SWA aren't all unicorns and bubble gum either. Further, I've talked to a lot of new guys over the past couple of years-everyone pretty psyched to be on property with essentially zero attrition. I agree one should carefully consider jumping ship to come here but company culture is down the list; night flying, domiciles, benefits, retirement, and pay take priority.

Who said not being proud of people i fly with. Whats your perspective ie first 121 job. Its all about perspective.

This is my 4th 121 carrier. All 3 previous are out of business... and my last job for 12 years was 91K135. As FTFF mentioned, I came here with my eyes wide open knowing EXACTLY what I was getting into. I did my research and talked to dozens of pilots. Sure, they all had their honest opinions to share, some not so glowing. But "toxic" was never a word mentioned.

I'm almost 50, and have been doing this professionally for 24 years. It's not my first rodeo.

I think you get it. It's not perfect but it is what it is and it's better than most other places.

Pigs......Are u working for one of the feeders? Ever since the contract has been signed it's been nothing but good news around here. My guess is ur full of s$@t. Back to the original topic.....Congrats to those with May classes.....Welcome!

Once you're on 2nd year pay, you can ditch the polyester MC Hammer trousers, and pick up some custom made wool slacks in HKG. Well worth the money for a perfect fit and comfort.
