Don't know Boiler but the leadership needs a change, I think JS would do a great job of restoring the EB to where it needs to be. Lucky to have DB, really.

He's already lost my vote and he hasn't even officially kicked off his campaign yet. And have you ever talked to NK or DB? Pretty smart guys. We are lucky to have DB VOLUNTEERING for us on grievance. Why exactly are you childishly referring to them as butt buddies?
Didn't say JS over BT. But JS over HT yes. DB's low profile on the BG must mean he is throwing his hat in the circus ring and yes I would vote no for him. EB needs a shake up, guys too cozy at the Fern Valley Bob Mahal. JS has my vote.

On 4/28, JS posted on the B&G "...if I win my candidacy for President next year..."

I don't think anybody has publicly announced they are running for the At-Large Rep position this fall.

After years of contraction and stagnation the pilot group is growing again, people are upgrading, and the airline is adding growth airframes. It is good for people to articulate their vision moving forward for THEIR union, and if people are interested in serving as an EB member to serve the group or further their agenda, then run for EB and let the pilot group decide. I would submit, however, anyone doing that needs to make a persuasive argument to the pilot group (ie. B&G and APC lurkers, not participants) and using anonymous sources to drop bombs while forming a campaign platform heavy on podcasts and increased social media presence will be sledding uphill.

...but I'm sure glad our newhires will continue to enjoy a non-frozen defined benefit pension...
