What’s the difference between “active” and “on file”? Any job fairs coming up?

I believe the next job fair they’re attending is NGPA in Palm Springs, in February. After that, I think it’s Women in Aviation in Reno, March 22-24.
The active versus on file thing will have to be answered by someone else, I’m not 100% sure on that one, I believe “ active “ is what you want though.

In short...active means you've passed the filter thresholds on the app and could possibly get a call for an interview. On file means you have not.

I got the invite to take the Hogan in early Oct 17 after a phone interview and "stressed out" over it for about a week. I called by buddy, my uncle and even looked online for info.... in the end, I took my uncles advice and answered the test the way I would answer, not how I thought someone would want me to answer. I think too many people are digging way too deep into this. The way I looked at it was 'I'm going to answer these questions the way I feel... if they don't like me for me then this company isn't for me'. Take that for what its worth. Good luck.
P.S. passed the Hogan and interviewed 20 Oct 17. Hired into the pool 26 Oct 17 and still swimming.

When I asked that same question on my phone interview, I was told that the test would stay "active" upwards of 6 months or something stupid like that.... I obviously wouldn't wait that long to take it.
