I recently interviewed with UPS and within hours of leaving their facility I received the same email from Stella.

Anyone else have this problem? Below is the email I get immediately after applying.

Hi ****:

Thank you for your interest in UPS and the "First Officer" position.
While you were not selected for this position, we are inviting you to join Stella which will automatically consider you for all other open roles at UPS and other high performance companies in the private Stella network.
I spoke with someone who recently interviewed and within hours of leaving the UPS facility he got that same email from Stella. I haven't heard back from him whether he got a TBNT letter or if he's swimming in the pool now.

Same email after interview. Wondering if this is the TBNT email or an auto generated email of some kind.

You have not appeased the Gods of Skynet, you must first travel back to 1991 and kill John Connor... then you'll be all set. Good luck!

Default Application window

Slightly off topic: after reading past threads, I thought January is the month when the system allows past applicants to update their application/profile. Particularly for those that had their application "On File".
As far as my application is concerned, it still shows "On File", therefore I cannot access it and update it.

1) Did I miss the window? If so when did it close?
2) Is there something unusual with my application, or a glitch in the system? (I can't think of anything scandalous or embarrassing about my profile)
3) Should I start a new application "ex-novo" with a different email address?
3) Has anyone encountered the same issue, and how did you solve it?
4) Any suggestion/advice welcome.

Thank you in advance.

January is when you re-apply with the year’s new requisition.

New ‘requisition’? Can you explain it in plain English or at the very least in non-Looavulian lingo?

A good friend, Giuseppe, is in Rigoletto’s shoes. He has a previous application which is still on-file. However, he can’t make any changes to it.
There’s a new application link (which you’ve posted before) and he’s wondering if he should apply again under a different email address?

**My understanding** is everyone, even those who have previously completed an application, need to reapply for the 2018 job posting I have linked to previously.

Thanks.
So they have to apply with a new email address then, correct? He’s tried to apply (your link) using the same email address but gets a message saying there’s an existing application on file. ..an application which cannot be updated.. Catch-22..

Couldn’t you become the ACP/B&G - HR liaison? I believe you used to work in that department in your previous life and if so maybe you still have some connections there?
I’m just so continuously embarrassed when trying to help out prospective brownies.. It shouldn’t be this convoluted and illogical as it often seems to be... yes, I’m new here..

My understanding is, for someone with a previous year's app on file, clicking "Apply Now" on the new requisition (posting) and logging into their upsjobs.com account will allow them to complete the 2018 application. It will retain much of the data entered from the previous year, but allow quals and other data to be updated.

If your friend is unable to that, it would be the first I've heard of that difficulty. In that case I'd say reapply with a new email address or you could drop a line to somebody in HR and ask them to help. My personal experience is they are willing to help a crewmember that comes to them looking for help on a friend's application.
