Default PHL to SDF Commute

I'm trying to work through the options with my wife about a potential UPS job. We planning on living in the PHL area and she's a little nervous about the impact of commuting. I've talked to my buddies currently at UPS and they all seem to think that PHL-SDF is easily doable. Does anyone on here regularly commute from PHL? If so, could you share your experience.
Thanks in advance.

Tons of flights to and from. Non-issue.

Commuting from Philly is easy, also you have Newark as well. Lots of options from PHL.

Might be the easiest commute in the system...? In addition to the numerous UPs flights almost 7 days a week there a bunch of flights on AA from PHL and on UAL out of EWR. We considered moving to the phl area for that reason.

Easy peasy. Bid "Z" and eventually you'll have a great deal.

PHL-SDF is clearly one of the easiest commutes in the system, that is apparent from the previous responses.

If your wife is "nervous about the impact of commuting" from PHL-SDF, you have other problems

I won't even begin to list the hazards associated with this job, it is well documented. Commuting 700 miles in the same time zone from an east coast, pax airline hub to SDF should be the least of her worries.

Good Luck !

Thanks fellas.
Worried might have been the wrong word...she was just looking for more info on the potential impact of having to commute vs a 1-2 hr drive to the airport.

Keep in mind that we have a no fault commuting policy. If you get bumped or your flight cancels, you can not be disciplined for it. You loose pay of course but you can make that up several ways including by rejoining your trip. Tell wifey that it's all good.

Don’t have all the details but allegedly one of our ANC commuters has a ‘warning letter’ of some kind on his file because he missed a flight because of cancelled flight. This person said it was a disciplinary letter which could hurt him in the future if there are other snafus, not necessarily related to commuting.

Agree with everyone else though, PHL would be an easy commute.
