It’s a revolving problem, currently perched on the whale. Personally I’d love the xtra time off.

I would too! It’s eating into that dreadful first year either at home or the Hotel which is paid for.
Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Can anyone tell me how they assign you which aircraft you will be flying, is it by SSN, age? Or they will assign you.

Class drop is bid in seniority order; seniority based on age.

Company is skirting the intent of this new contractual language by splitting newhire classes, which allows them to ‘handpick’ pilots for the 747 and MD11 based on prior experience. Recent past practice has shown the Heavy class is first, with following day being light twins.
