New interviews and Swimmers

Anyone interview in the last couple months? Did you get a class date or in the pool.

**looking for current info the last post got sidetracked :-)

I interviewed in June and was placed in pool. I was told that internal rec only helps get the interview, not out of the pool to class. Can anyone update?

Talking to many new hires, seems vast majority said they were in the pool. When I ask how long in the pool ( I was a swimmer too) get anywhere from a few weeks to months and longer. Not sure anyone other than HR has a pool time tracker or gets consistent info. My info is anecdotal. (but do ask many new hires in past year)

Interviewed the beginning of June, got the invite to the pool exactly 3 weeks later. Glad to be here...!

Aptitude testing

Anyone know the name of the aptitude test UPS is using in screening?

In the past it was the Hogan assessment.
With the recent shakeup in HR, that may be old information.

Shakeup in HR? I did a phone interview in March, took the Hogan, passed and haven’t heard anything since. Could these be related? Any suggestions on how, or if I should shake the tree?

I don’t have any insider info on this supposed shakeup. There have been a few rumors of it here on APC. I also know they (HR) were preparing for a significant personnel changeover in May.
Maybe someone else can chime in with more detailed info.
