New 747-400 will be certified the last week of November in Montreal, won't be available for use until 1st QTR 2019. However, due to 747-4 NGFMC retrofit completion in 1st QTR '19, the MIA sim will no longer be available for use unless agreement to fund the sim upgrade to NGFMC.

[QUOTE=Ray Kinsella;2625531]6/29/19.

UPS is so short of pilots and lift that they began contracting with Western Global for 6 MD11s, 21Air for 2 767s, and a Star 767 in Europe. This is a clear violation of the contract with the IPA pilots.

21 Air may soon be extinct. New chief pilot caused 25% of the captains to leave within a month of his arrival. Eastern 3 said no to him.

36th street airlines have not done well, DC-10 nearly sank the company. All DC-10 pilots furloughed along with 3 new hire 767 FO's who were furloughed immediately.

If they had one CP from day one until their demise.... then yes.

EAL was fluid, regarding management, and the Part 119 mob.

Airlines based on 36th Street. If you have to ask what city you haven't been in cargo very long.

I’ve been an Intl capt at Brown and on every fleet at UPS and I don’t know anything about “36th Street” airlines.

Major issues at UPS with 21 Air this week. Lots of buffoonery by their crews according to my trusty van driver.

Hard to believe you don’t know what 36th street is... if you’ve flown into MIA, UPS parks right along 36th. I wish I didn’t know what 36th street was..ugh
