2027 is when the MDs are due to be headed out for pasture.

Haha.. true. Which is exactly why we WILL get 777s ...at some point.

Of course, it’ll probably be around the time they announce their 777s replacements ..

During the last GMM meeting Bob T. said that ‘historically’ that’s what they’d seen (see my previous comment).
Which is why it’s possible that the current average retirement might change..
Speaking of which, based on the numbers you’ve see, what is that “average retirement age”? I think I heard 62 1/2 but I’m not sure who said it. Don’t think it was Bob, maybe someone else at that meeting?

I LOVE your prediction.
I’m somewhat skeptical because it feels like a déjà vu all over again, but I love it nevertheless.

I sincerely hope that in December 2020 I’ll be able to post right here and admit that you were right and I was wrong!!! :-)

I note today's CPIL discusses a new ramp west of 17R/35L abeam A3/A4 that will fit six Ochos and be open by Peak.

I hadn’t seen that yet. Good news, but I don’t know if that opens enough space to accommodate MD11 replacement that can’t fit in the wings. Still happy to see the company spending to support fleet growth.
