Is this somewhat recent development? On the whale the vast majority of guys seem to be in the 6K+ range.. (there are some exceptions to the rule)

Ok,
So here it goes. I would love feedback from everyone.
I submitted my app today and I received inactive status. I am guessing its solely based on my total time, but I thought I would be at least mid grade status.
3650 total time
2331 turbine jet
1058 turbine jet pic
two type ratings
4 year bachelors 3.4 gpa
family member works at brown just not a pilot
no failures
enlisted military
Is this not even close to getting away from the inactive status?

My bad, I was referring to the time needed just to get the app to stay active. It definitely trends higher in order to get the call. (There are always exceptions so keep applying).

So, a coworker and I both applied 3, Jan 2019. Mine went active, his inactive. We are both career Air Force. Both, multi-platform evaluators(check airman)/instructors, safety officers, Director of Operations, etc. Both about 3500TT. The only difference b/w us for heavy aircraft flown...C-17s for me and KC-135s for him. To say that was what the algorithm discriminated against? No idea. We both went to NGPA in Feb and spoke with the same HR person and were asked to email them after the event. His app went active after that.
Do you both have a Masters degree? Are you both current as evaluators? Did one of you have a LOR, or maybe you had one more than the 135 driver? Unfortunately, these do differentiate on small details at the moment your data is put in the "spin the rheostat" on who we call today process.
Not sure changed much. Twenty years ago took me 3 years to get called. Had same mil buds called within months. Same path, same resumes essentially. He should keep trying. Not sure anyone in HR has an answer either. Total guess on why. Truly wish you both the best fortune!

Well played sir, I am on APC double secret probation or I’d comment on ATI
At AA for a couple of years, if ups doesnt call soon I dont think I’ll leave so I figured one last job fair. Love AA, just would be nice to diss TSA/pax/fa’s.
