Junior base/seat/equipment numbers

Does anybody have the current junior line numbers by base, seat, and equipment?

Junior Captain hire dates from the latest system bid.

747 ANC 7/05
757 SDF 10/06
757 SDFZ 6/06
A30 SDF 3/07
757 MIA 8/06
757 ONT 3/07
M1F SDF 10/05
M1F ANC.....doesn’t matter.

Newhire FO’s go to all fleets and seats, mostly dependent on what the company makes available to your class. Lineholding happens fairly quickly for all FO’s depending on your flexibility (VTO/VTOR/Base Trip)....but are they lines ya want...?

Other than the M1F fleet in ANC, are there any changes on the horizon for the M1Fs or A30s?

If there are any changes, we (the line pilots) will be the last ones to know about it.

We do make up rumors as necessary, but none worth mentioning.

MD11s are on their way out to pasture. It could be 5 or 10 years. A330 is likely replacement when and if the price is right. 777 makes sense, too.

Our A300s are really not that old and are all getting a new cockpit mod starting next month. Our 757s are old and will go much sooner.

The 757’s are getting new cockpits as well and not going anywhere anytime soon.

Lots of timelines thrown around, yet no lift or combinations selected to replace. Suspect as long as FedEx keeps flying MD-11's, UPS will do same plus several years. If they chose to truly maintain them, they would serve the business well for long time effectively. International they will fly as long as FedEx is operating overseas. Less destinations, specific lanes plus DOD charters
or.... the market can crash and UPS parks them all overnight ala the DC-8 and all unplanned.
