Beaker, you briefly touched on UPS DH policy. Does the company attempt to get you on brown tails for domestic and international DH's to the max extent policy? I know most guys at purple are platinum in at least one airline from all of the commercial tickets they get purchased.

The 12 day jump seat reservation now makes sense. Thank you for the info.

Domestic dh is scheduled on passenger airlines. International does not have to be but largely is. Yes, you can make status of that's your goal.

Do most of your flights originate from SDF?
First come first serve?
Do you have a dedicated jump seat?
Can I commute on a commercial airliner to SDF, probably two stops?
Does UPS fly you to SDF commercially like FEDEX?
Can I lay on a pile of boxes in the back of the plane?
757s suck to jumpseat on. I think they have 3 jumpseats. 767 is obviously bigger and has 4 or 5 seats. A300 has 5. Syracuse gets served by a 757 usually, I think.

You would not have issues getting to or from SDF jumpseating out of SYR. I don’t think we fly to Albany, NY but someone will correct me if we do.

757s have 4 seating positions, the bench seat at the aft bulkhead can seat 2 people plus the 2 cockpit seats, none of these recline however. You can get to ALB via SYR or BDL depending on the day. SYR would be your best option, as we have nonstops.
